Happy Birthday to us

Last week marked Citizens Advice 80th birthday.

Only ten years later a Citizens Advice local service reached Calderdale, and we've been here ever since.

Times have certainly changed - listening to our clients we've adapted our service to their needs.

We now have less offices across the district spending more time out in the local community in outreaches.

We've also modified how clients can get access to advice. You can now contact us using the telephone, e-mail and webchat (for Help to Claim only).

We're working hard not only to support everyone with advice, but to also raise awareness through our preventative work with Gender Based Violence and Gambling.

To that end we have opened our offices to Counsellors, both general and Gambling specific, and Pension Wise.

No one knows what will happen in the future, but let's hope we'll still be here supporting Calderdale's citizens for the next 70 years.

Citizens Advice Calderdale has worked tirelessly in our local community for over 70 years providing advice and support to Calderdale residents on a range of matters.

And we're still here providing many ways for the citizens of Calderdale to contact us:

By phone. Call the  Telephone Advice Line on 0300 330 9048.

You can also contact us via E-mail using the 'Contact Us' page.

Online information is available by clicking the Self Help tab.

You can also drop in to one of our many outreaches across Calderdale, including Brighouse, Todmorden and Central Halifax . Find opening hours for these drop-in sessions here.
