Calderdale Council

Calderdale Council continue to provide Citizens Advice Calderdale with our main contract for the delivery of Advice and Information Services to the residents of Calderdale.  We are delighted that we have been given the contract to continue to provide these services from 2017 -20.  Calderdale Council also provide us with support through the allocation of project specific grants – we have been involved in the delivery of Financial Resilience and Capability information and advice over the past couple of years through such a grant.  Similarly we have just been informed that they will be supporting an initiative  tied in with the Community Foundation for Calderdale Vital Signs work.

Community Foundation for Calderdale

The Community Foundation for Calderdale are a significant contributor to our ability to provide advice services to the residents of Calderdale .

They currently provide 2  significant grants to Citizens Advice Calderdale – a Vital Signs Grant to help Support Families in Crisis and a Flood grant to allow us to deliver specific advice to those still suffering the ongoing detrimental effects from the floods of Boxing Day 2015.

In addition to these grants they provide us with a “small pot” through which we can assist clients in severe hardship with the cost of i.e. school uniforms, white goods etc.
